On Sunday, March 15, 2015, in Southlake, Texas, Marjorie Ysleta Renfro Hall, ended life as a wondrous daughter, sister, wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, daughter-in-law, sister-in-law, aunt, niece, friend and devoted believer.
Ysleta was born Nov. 23, 1917 to George Edgar and Elva Odella McElvany Renfro in Lillian. Her family were the earliest Johnson County Pioneers. The Renfro family were co-founders of Lillian, Texas named for her grandmother. Mother attended the Lillian and Alvarado schools. At a young age, she took over the care of her father and two brothers after the loss of her mother. She married Lee Otis Hall of Mansfield in August of 1940 in a double wedding ceremony with their best friends. She has lived her adult life in Mansfield, reaching the age of 97 years of age. Mother has been a faithful member of the First Baptist Church of Mansfield since 1940.
Yselta was preceded in death by her parents, husband (March 1962), and two brothers.
She is survived by son Ronald and wife Gwyn of Corpus Christi, son Jerry of Fort Worth, and son Roger of Mansfield; daughter, Donna and husband Larry Parrish of Grapevine; grandchildren, Keelie and husband Mark Schwenker of Edmond, Oklahoma, Zachary Parrish and wife Crystal of Plano, Mary Lee and husband Sean Hopkins of Round Rock, and Sally and Molly Hall of Austin; great granddaughter, Isabella Hopkins of Round Rock; sisters-in-law, Doris Renfro of Lillian and Erma Hall Blundell of Oklahoma City; many nieces, nephews and countless friends.
Her family is forever thankful for having had such a remarkable Mother. She was a loving, gracious, compassionate child of God. A precious life has ended and a new one has begun with her Savior. We will cherish her for all of our lives to come.
The darkness of sorrow will always be outshone by her endless love given us. Whether deserved or not, she was a gift we hold dear.
