Dad came from east Texas and was sent to the Texas State Home for Dependent and Neglected Children in Waco at a young age. He stayed there until he graduated. He loved football and a whole range of sports and outdoor activities.
He married twice and had three children, all boys: Royce Wayne Dorrough (deceased), James Vincent Dorrough of Mansfield, Texas and Michael Shane Dorrough of Burkburnett, TX.; grandchildren, Monique Dorrough-Barger of Wichita Falls, TX., Nathan Dorrough of Mansfield, TX., Ian Dorrough of Kingston, TN., Kyle Dorrough of Marysville,WA., Emma Dorrough of Burkburnett, TX.; and 3 great-grandchildren. There was also Heather Lynn Camp-Walker of Cleburne, and Wesley Jack Camp of Joshua, TX. They were his niece and nephew of whom he had a very close relationship with. He had several nieces, nephews and family members all over the United States.
He was a veteran of both the U.S. Army and Navy where he served proudly and retired. He was one of those people that had such a bombastic personality that would leave a memory with everyone he came across.
Most of all he was a Dad, brother, uncle, cousin, and friend who was loved by many.
