Wanda Jean Wright

Wanda Jean Wright, 89, of Mansfield, Texas was called home to be with the Lord on Sunday, April 24, 2022. She was born on October 7, 1932 to Mattie and William Almand in Canton, Texas. She was a member of Bisbee Baptist Church in Mansfield, Texas.

She is preceded in death by her parents William and Mattie Almand; husband, Joe Wright; step-son, Christopher Wright; siblings, Audrey Vernon; Barbara Fomby; Dorothy Thompson; Billy Almand; and JoAnn Coker.

She is survived by her children, Sherry Warren and husband John; Rick Jordan and wife Sondra; Jolene Walls-Witter and husband Bruce; Danny Wright and wife Lori; grandchildren, Shellie Vorland and husband Ryan; Josh Jordan and wife Melissa; Eric Ward and wife Sara; Jerrod Jordan and wife Desiree; Justin Jordan and wife Erin; Sara Banfield; Aaron Helm and wife Ashley; Brandon Helm and wife Courtney; Heather Nealy and husband Devon; Cameron Wright and wife Jennifer; Cayla Wright; Micah Wright; Christopher Wright; Rebecca Richerson and husband Jason; and Jeremy Beasley and wife Kelsey; greatgrandchildren, Brittany Wamsley; Leslie Comer; Kylie Watrous; Keegan, Aspen and Koralynn Banfield; Christopher, Corianna, Honie, Connor, and Beau Jordan; eighteen step-grandchildren, and five great-great-step-grandchildren; siblings, Betty Bales; Bert Almand; Bertie Almand; and sister-in-law, Cathy Almond.

Visitation with the family will be held Monday May 2, 2022 from 5:00 - 7:00pm and Tuesday May 3, 2022 from 6:00 - 8:00pm at Blessing Funeral Home in Mansfield, Texas. Funeral Services will be Wednesday, May 4, 2022 at 11:00 at Blessing Colonial Chapel in Mansfield, Texas with interment to immediately follow at Emerald Hills Memorial Park in Kennedale, Texas. Pallbearers: Edward Stebbins, Jeremy Almand, Kevin Money, Ryan Vorland, Keegan Banfield, Josh Jordan, Eric Ward, Jerrod Jordan, and Justin Jordan. Honorary Pallbearers: Brittany Wamsley, Aspen Banfield, Kylie Watrous, and Koralynn Banfield.
