Virginia Catherine Noel

MANSFIELD -- Virginia Catherine Noel passed away Wednesday, Aug. 19, 2015, after a short illness.
Service: 1 p.m. Saturday at Blessing Funeral Home, Mansfield. Visitation: 6 to 7:30 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.
Virginia was a graduate of Harris Hospital Nursing School in 1942. She entered the Army Nursing Corps, where she served four years as a first lieutenant including deployment to England and France until the end of World War II.
She was an active member of Trinity Presbyterian Church in Mansfield.
Virginia was preceded in death by her husband of 45 years, Robert V. Noel.
Survivors: Brother, Bobby Reed of Burleson; niece, Patti Moore of Fredericksburg; nephew, Stephen Reed of Joshua; stepson, Skip Noel of Boulder, Colo.; and four great-nephews.
