Virginia Elaine Mobly, 87, passed away September 18, 2020 in Fort Worth. Virginia was born to Lester and Beatrice (Boydell) Boss on August 31, 1933 in Cranston, Rhode Island.
Virginia was a legal secretary for Pacific Land Trust in Dallas until she retired. Growing up she was a Girl Scout and loved to camp. Her hobbies included reading, astrology, sewing, and gardening. While living in Fort Meyers, Florida, Virginia volunteered at the library and was a member of an astrology club.
Virginia is preceded in death by her parents, husband Charles B. Mobly, son Howard J. Marland III, and brothers David and Warren Boss.
Virginia is survived by her daughter Heidi J. Vose, grandchildren Tiffany and Seth Vose, Kristal Gortat and Ashley Vandergriff (husband Jeff); great grandchildren Tye, Austyn, Megan, Crystal, Zakary, Braeden, Parker, Jaxon, Taylor and Alivia; great-great grandchildren Ashton, Tyson, Adelyn and Beau.
She loved her family and was surrounded by her loved ones as she peacefully passed away at home.
In lieu of flowers, Virginia's family wishes donations to be made to a charity of your choice in her honor.
Due to the current Coronavirus environment, services for Virginia's Celebration of Life for October 11, 2020 will be limited to family only.
A separate public celebration of Virginia's life will be scheduled at a later date.
