Vera Modena Lewelling, 86, of Arlington, Texas, passed away Friday, November 13, 2015.
Vera was born in Ackerly, Texas on January 21, 1929, the daughter of William Polvado and Vera Angie Wiley Polvado. She married Wayne Glen Lewelling on June 4, 1949 in Mesquite, Texas. Vera was a member of the Church of Christ and was retired from the dry cleaning profession.
Survivors include two Daughters, Carolyn Lewelling and Becky McWhirter; son- in-law, Johnny W. Austin; three grandchildren, Kenneth and Terry Johnson, Heather Maples and husband, Donald III; one step grandson, David Jeremiah Austin; three great-grandchildren, Jacob Lynn, Riley Cheyenne and Preston Reed Maples; two step grandchildren, David Jeremiah II and Angelica Austin; two brothers, Gene and Richard Polvado; two half sisters, Ann Cole and husband, George, and Kate Scott.
Vera was preceded in death by her husband, Wayne Glen Lewelling, on January 13, 1992 and her son, William Paul Lewelling on June 12, 1994.
