Irene Gregory DuBose Watkins of Burleson passed away October 20, 2012 after a very long illness. A memorial service of Christian Burial will be held at Birdston Cem etery in Streetman, Texas on Sunday, November 4, 2012 at 2:00 p.m.
Irene was born on February 11, 1921 to Robert and Minnie (Owens) Gregory of Streetman, Texas. She was a loving daughter, sister, wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother and will be remembered as a kind & giving person.
She was preceded in death by parents, sister Josephine, grandson Millard Glenn DuBose, Jr., her first husband and father of their children Millard DuBose, and her sec ond husband Cecil Watkins.
She is survived by one son Millard Glenn DuBose and wife Sharon of Whites boro, and two daughters Carolyn Zierer and husband Joe of Fort Worth and Connie Westerfeld and husband Jerry of Crawford, six grandchildren Charles, Joey, Michelle, Alison, Meghan and Caitlin, eleven great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
