Trudy Jean Rampy

Trudy Jean Rampy, 72, of Mansfield, Texas, passed away June 9, 2021. Born in Cherokee, Oklahoma on November 4, 1948, her family eventually settled in Lubbock, Texas, where she graduated from Coronado High School. She married Phill Rampy in 1974 before they moved their growing family to Mansfield. She spent over two decades as a department manager for Walmart until she retired.
Trudy loved The Beatles and attending rock concerts with her sister. She was generous with her time and energy for those who needed her. She was “Mom Trudy” to many, always making sure to attend as many soccer games as she could, and she gave little treats to her “kids” on every holiday, not just the big ones.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Al and Doris Pantel and her husband Phill. She is survived by her sister, Jan Hemphill; her children Heather Germany, Jeremy Rampy and his wife, Stephanie, Todd Rampy and his wife Stacy; and her grandchildren Jesse, Bree, Kamie, Brett and Heath.
