Timothy Jon Nearing

Timothy Jon Nearing,currently of Mansfield Texas passed away on November 19, 2013 at the age of 54. Tim was born on January 8, 1959 in Corning, New York to the late Edwin D. and Edith (Newman) Nearing. He attended Corning West High School and graduated in 1977. He graduated from Paul Smiths College in 1982 with dual degrees in Business and Hotel and Restaurant Management. Tim enjoyed a career in the hospitality industry that began as a front desk clerk with Hilton Hotels and ended as a Vice President for the La Quinta corporation. He was an avid runner and sports fan throughout his lifetime and especially enjoyed coaching his children in their youth sport programs. Those left to celebrate his life are his children; son Joel Thomas Nearing, his wife Jessie and son Maxwell, daughter Jordan Elizabeth Nearing Crumbaker, her husband Michael and children Zoe and Carter, son Jackson Deforest Nearing, former spouse Allison Nearing, sister Marcia Sinkovitz, husband Edward and children Matthew and Tessa, and many loving friends. Funeral services will be held Saturday, November 23, 2013 at 2:00 pm at Blessing Funeral Home in Mansfield Texas.
