Thomas “Tom” Dale Arber, 74, passed away November 1, 2018.
Tom was born in Mansfield on January 17, 1944 and lived in Aledo at time of death. He served as Mansfield city councilman in late 1970's, until he accepted a job overseas in 1978 with General Dynamics, now Lockheed Martin. Tom lived and worked in various countries overseas for 22 years including Holland, Greece, Turkey and Belgium. He moved back to the states to Fort Worth in 2000 where he retired. Tom volunteered for his church. He also belonged to an RV group and enjoyed travelling with friends. He enjoyed the water, scuba diving and the mountains. Tom was witty and had a great sense of humor. He loved his family and adored his grandchildren. He loved his Cocker Spaniels and his dog Kola.
He was preceded in death by his mother Edna Arber, Father Ernest Arber, son Allen Arber and sister Marjorie Cain.
Survivors include his Son Duane Arber and wife Julie; grandchildren Payton and Landon Arber; nephew Don Cain; niece Lynnette Cain; one great niece and three great nephews.
