Went to be with our Lord and Savior on Tuesday June 29th 2021.
He was surrounded by his loving family, who were always by his side.
Tom is survived by his best friend and loving wife of 67 years, Peggy. Daughter Judi McElvoy Campbell and husband Mark. Son Jerry McElvoy and his wife Lisa, daughter Nancy McElvoy Russell and her husband Jeff. He was proceeded in death by daughter Kathy McElvoy Henderson ad survived by her husband Ron Henderson. Also survived by sister in law and brother in law, Pat and Don Blem.
Grandchildren Ryan (Ashley) Campbell, Matthew (Camille) Campbell, David (Brittney) Campbell and Kelli (Stephen) Ladd. Justin and Madison Russell and Joshua and Meghan Henderson, plus 8 great grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews.
He proudly served in the United State Air Force for 4 years. He followed up by working for Burroughs in Detroit, Michigan then was transferred to Huntsville, Alabama to work with Chrysler. From there he was transferred back to Michigan where he was employed by LTV/Vought. In 1980 Tom and Peggy were transferred yet again to Mansfield, Texas where they presently reside. He was a member of Walnut Creek Country Club. Tom enjoyed skiing, golf, softball, bowling, but especially being with his family.
Private viewing will be at Blessings Funeral Home in Mansfield for family members on Wednesday July 7th. Church service will be held July 7th at 1:00 at Saint Jude Catholic Church 500 E. Dallas Street, Mansfield, TX 76063.
