Terran Lene Spencer (Bunch), 39, of Mansfield, claimed victory and passed peacefully from her earthly bonds September 28, 2015, as a result of a long battle with breast cancer. She was a warrior, a champion, a masterpiece. She was born October 6, 1975, in Abilene, the daughter of John and Lisa Bunch (Ardis). She lived her younger years in Abilene. She graduated high school from Abilene Cooper high school in 1993, where she was a member of the Abilene Cooper “Cougarettes.” She was an accomplished labor and delivery nurse, earning her nursing license (RN) from Thomas Nelson Community College and continued her education with Frontier Nursing University. Terran was a devoted Air Force spouse and mother of two boys. She followed and supported her husband and children through all the trials military service offers. She worked at Mary Immaculate Hospital in Virginia, University Medical Center in Arizona and Stafford Hospital in Virginia. One of her greatest joys in life was delivering and caring for God’s miracles every shift. She loved being with new and veteran mothers at the moment of birth. She attended First Methodist Church in Mansfield and is survived by her husband, Russell Spencer, and children Austin and Ethan of Mansfield. She also departed from her mother, Lisa Newman (Ardis) and stepfather Kerry of Grand Prairie; her brother, John “Johnny” Bunch of Fort Worth; her grandmother, Edith “Mimi” Bunch of Fort Worth; her father Randy McAfee and numerous extended family and friends who will miss her greatly. A Memorial service will be held Saturday at 12:00 p.m. at First Methodist, 777 N. Walnut Creek Dr., Mansfield, TX 76063.
