Mary “Sue” Davis, 85, of Mansfield, Texas, passed away Tuesday February 21, 2023. She was born in Big Spring, Texas on October 1, 1937 to Nettie Maude and Philip Lee Musgrove.
Sue graduated from Arlington High in 1956 and received a business degree from Brantley Draughon College.
She was married to Ernest Dean Davis on August 24, 1957 in Arlington. Dean worked at General Motors for 30 years. Sue worked as a dog groomer until she was 75. She was a member of the Methodist Church and had a passion for dogs and genealogy. After Dean’s retirement she worked with Dean in their motorcycle shop, Touring Specialties.
Sue is preceded in death by her parents, Philip and Maudie Musgrove; and her great grandson, Kile Pearson.
She leaves behind to cherish her memory her beloved husband, Dean Davis; daughter, Cindy Harding (Ken); son, Steve Davis; grandchildren, Wesley Harding (Amanda), Tiffany Batchelor (Brian), Jared Harding (Sarah), and Nicole Davis; great-grandchildren, Haley, Alix, Jordan, Kurstyn, Ashlyn, MaKinley, Dylan, Sophie, and Hudson; and great-great-grandson, Hunter.
In Lieu of Flowers memorials in her name can be made to Cook Children's Hospital.
