‘I have fought a good fight, I have finished my course, I have kept the faith”.
2 Timothy 4:7.

Stafon Latrise Jackson-Bishop, 52, of Arlington, Texas gained her heavenly wings on Thursday, July 1, 2021, surrounded by her devoted daughter, husband and family. From the union of her parents, Charlie Ray Harris Sr. and Pearline McClellan, Stafon was born in Wichita, Kansas on December 22, 1968. She attended Wichita North High School class of 1988 and made it her life’s mission to be a speaker and entrepreneur… SHE DID THAT!! Stafon was married to Kenneth Bishop in Fort Worth Texas in 2017. Not only was she a socialite, Stafon inspired so many with her living testimony with her battle of cancer, also with losing a child to cancer. Her story has encouraged so many across the world to “Keep fighting, don’t put your gloves down for nothing!” Stafon lived her life openly, freely, and spiritually. She was at her best self when she was around people, talking and dancing. She was a part of so many Cancer related organizations and even created her own CNJ Cancer Foundation in honor of her late daughter Cherae. She will always be remembered by her smile, bubbly personality, her strong will, spirituality, her children and her love for people.

Stafon is preceded in death by her father, Charlie Ray Harris Sr.; brothers, Charlie Ray Harris Jr and Savanest Harris; daughter, Cherae Nekole Jackson; and grand-pup, Prince. She is survived by her husband, Kenneth LaJohn Bishop; daughters, Kaila Dowdell, Kendra, Morgan, and Talayah Bishop; grandson, Grayson White-Bishop; grand-pups, Tory and Stimmi; grandmother, Noble Pearl Ballance; mother, Pearline Forbes (Robert); sister, Angela Germany; niece and nephew, Valencia and Xavier Harris, Ashley Toney (Tony) and CJ Germany; great nieces and nephews, Uzziah, Winter, Aleena, Gabriel, Cassie and Caden Harris, Kimorah Silmon, Jayleigh and Skylar Toney; and numerous family and friends.
