Sonia Beth Baker, 81 passed away August 10, 2022. Sonia was born in Mckinney Texas August 18, 1940 to Delbert Loyd McQueary and Bessie Mae Taylor McQueary.
She married Joe Bailey Baker in McKinney Texas on August 21, 1965. She was a loving foster mom to numerous children before adopting her two sons Phillip and David. She had a large church family and friends who will miss her dearly. She was "Nanny” to her grandchildren "Sonia Beth" to her loving husband Joe, and "Mom" to her sons. She will truly be missed by everyone.
Sonia was preceded in death by her parents, Delbert Loyd McQueary and Bessie Mae Taylor McQueary, and her husband, Joe Bailey Baker.
She is survived by her sister Trisha Dianne McQueary; two sons, Phillip Baker and wife Laura, David Baker and wife Alison; niece, Ginger Luellen; nephew, Jason Luellen and 13 grandchildren.
