Sondy Phears Wolfe

Sondy Phears Wolfe, of Mansfield, Texas, was born on October 24, 1959 and passed away, with family by her side, in Fort Worth, Texas on October 25, 2018.
Sondy called Mansfield home her entire life and was known and loved by many in the community. She excelled in school and volleyball in her youth and was able to fulfill her passion for equine with barrel racing. Attending the rodeo and spending time with horses remained a favorite past time throughout her life. Sondy loved nothing more than to spend time with her daughter, Britney, her pride and joy.
Sondy’s professional life spanned many arenas with time spent in real estate, insurance, working for Mary Kay and TXU, as well as catering. Cooking, in fact, became her favorite way to spend her time. Her knack for hospitality and entertaining came through not only in her presentation but also in her warm, welcoming personality.
The many friends and family who have had the privilege of knowing Sondy will remember what a big heart she possessed. She never met a stranger and was so kind to any person who came into her life. Sondy was an incredible friend, who encouraged and loved others selflessly.
She was preceded in death by her beloved parents Pete & Betty Phears, sister Cecelia, and husband Richard Wolfe.
Her legacy of generosity and positivity will live on in those who have survived her passing; daughter, Britney Wolfe Jackson & son-in-law, Brooks, sisters Lecia Randolph & brother-in-law, Randy, Velinda Mullins and brother DeWayne Phears & sister-in law Lynn. Sondy also leaves behind a number of other loving relatives and close friends.
