Sheri Faye Tarpley

Sheri Faye Tarpley, 64, of Mansfield entered her eternal rest on March 20, 2021, after a brief illness.

Born February 20, 1957, in Leonard, Texas to Robert and Helen Burnett. She graduated from Greenville High School in 1974 and later graduated with a nursing degree from Trinity Valley in Kaufman where she fulfilled her dream of becoming an RN at East Texas Medical Center.

Sheri enjoyed spending time with her family more than anything else, but she also played the piano and had an active interest in genealogy.

A long-time resident of Athens, Texas, Sheri moved to Mansfield in 2000 and continued her nursing career at Arlington Memorial Hospital.

She is survived by her sister Beverly Nuchols and husband, Larry of the British Virgin Islands, brother Robert Sean Burnett of New Braunfels, son Stephen Tarpley and wife, Anna of Mansfield, and daughter Kristie Bluhm and husband, Steve of Arlington. She also was a grandmother to eight who were her joy and delight.

A short graveside service was performed at Burns Cemetery in Trenton.
