Sharon Merle Mead

Sharon Merle Mead, aged 81, went home to be with the Lord September 6th, 2024. She was born to Adell and Edna Jolly on August 5, 1943, in Coleman, Texas. 

Sharon was a God-fearing woman. The love of Jesus flowed through her, it was evident in how she lived her life. She was caring, nurturing, loving and would give you the shirt off of her back if needed. She never did any wrong and could best be described as an angel. Sharon loved to laugh and adored life. 

Sharon was the matriarch of a large family. She had six children and multitudes of people who called her mom. She was the best mother, grandmother and great grandmother. She put her family first, always, and had a compassionate heart. Her favorite place to be was in her garden with her flowers, and watching the birds. Her family fondly remembers her Sunday tradition of Biscuits and Gravy. She never measured her recipe, but they were always perfect. The Bee Gees were her all time favorite band, it played constantly. 

She is proceeded in death by her husband Tom Mead, parents Adell and Edna Jolly, and sister Mary Karnes. 

Sharon leaves behind to cherish her memory, six children Edna, Kathy, Holly, Loyd, Jason, and Tom; a multitude of grandchildren, great grandchildren, great-great grandchildren, loving siblings, and numerous extended family and friends.
