Scott Lee Horn

Scott Lee Horn, 59, of Mansfield, passed away on Sunday, September 24, 2023. He was born to Barbara June and Wilbern Gene Horn on March 10, 1964 in Tarrant County, Texas. He graduated from Sam Houston High School and went on to work in oilfield management. He was employed for over 20 years with Oil States Industries.

Scott had three children and three step-children, and three grandchildren. He was an amazing father and grandfather. He was engaged to be married to his fiancé, Charity Steele.

Scott had an amazing work ethic. He loved to work on cars, make knives, camp, and fish. His true joy in life were his grandsons. He loved going camping with the kids and being outdoors. He is best described as the type of person who would give anyone the shirt off his back. His genuine generosity and love will be dearly missed by all who knew him.

Scott was preceded in death by his parents, Barbara June and Wilbern Gene Horn; and his brother, Bill Horn.

He leaves behind to cherish his memory, his fiancé, Charity Steele, children, Shawn Horn and wife Alicia, Tiffany Jones and husband, Matthew, and Dylan Horn, step-children, Chelsea Chan and husband, Nelson, Brittany Steele, and Shawna Torres and husband, Jonathan, grandsons, Nickolas Horn, Koen Gargano, and Jeremiah Torres, sister, Vickie Stamp and husband, Geoffrey and brother, Tom Horn and wife Suzi.
