Samuel Macias Maldonado Sr.

Samuel Macias Maldonado passed away on November 21, 2013 in Mansfield. He was born on July 20, 1937 in Fisher County, Texas to the late Jose Maldonado and Anselma Macias. Samuel is preceded in death by his parents Jose and Anselma Maldonado; one brother, Americo Maldonado and one daughter, Esmeralda Maldonado Strange. Those left to celebrate his life are: his wife of 53 years, Natividad Maldonado; four sons, Joe Maldonado and partner Jennifer Constant, David Maldonado and wife Elma, Anthony Maldonado and wife Lisa, Samuel Maldonado Jr., and wife Mary; eleven grandchildren, Jon Charles Strange, Matthew Maldonado, Jordan Maldonado, Bradley Maldonado, PFC Brandon Maldonado, Joseph Maldonado, Miranda Maldonado, Nicholas Maldonado, Isiah Maldonado, Demi Maldonado, Jacoby Maldonado; one great grandchild Maci Maldonado; three brothers, Pete Maldonado, Alfred Maldonado & Daniel Maldonado; three sisters, Francis Castro, Gloria Delgado, and Emma Maldonado. Visitation will be Monday November 25, 2013 from 6:00 pm to 7:00 pm at Blessing Funeral Home in Mansfield. A Rosary will be held Monday November 25, 2013 from 7:00 pm to 8:00 pm at Blessing Funeral Home. Catholic Mass will be held Tuesday November 26, 2013 at St. Joseph’s Catholic Community at 11:00 am in Arlington, with burial to follow at Emerald Hills Memorial Park in Kennedale
