Sally Ann Kelley-McDonald, age 92 of Arlington, TX, passed away on Saturday, October 7,2017. She was born on May 17, 1925 in Terre Haute, Indiana. Her parents were Gerhart and Alberta Frohbieter.
As a youth, she was a classical violinist. Sally also thoroughly enjoyed cooking, football and spending time with her family.
In 1945, Sally married Richard A. Plummer Sr. and they had six children. In 1959, she married James B Strahan, and they had two children.
In 1968, she married James F. Kelley (Pops) and they were married for 38 years.
In 2005, at the age of 80, she met and married her current husband, Robert J. McDonald.
Her main profession was a bookkeeper in the medical field. In her earlier years, she was a singer, ballroom dance teacher and a disc jockey for RCA.
Although she lived in Texas for the last several years, she never gave up her love for the San Francisco 49er's, especially Joe Montana, which made football parties very interesting.
Sally is survived by her husband, Robert McDonald, sons, Ty Plummer of Defiance, MO, Gary J. Plummer of Terre Haute, IN
J. Scott Kelley of Fredricksburg, VA, daughters, Suzi Elrod of Mansfield, TX, Sarah Mars of Snowmass CO, Sherri Secor of Weatherford, TX, Starr Sause of Marietta, GA and Stacy Kelley of Mansfield, TX. sixteen grandchildren, several great and great great grandchildren.
Funeral arrangements are being provided by Blessing Funeral Home of Mansfield, TX. With her final resting place in Dallas National Cemetery.
