Rose Annette (Sloan) Booghier, 62 of Crowley, Texas, went to be with the Lord on October 12, 2022 in Burleson, Texas. Rose was born to Beulah Kessler and William Sloan on August 25, 1960 in Troy, Ohio.
Rose married her beloved husband, Stephen Booghier, on October 17, 1983. Together they have eight children and 21 grandchildren. Rose was a woman with a strong faith in Christ as her Lord and claimed Christ as her Savior in her early twenties. For thirty-nine years she was faithful in supporting her husband and ministering the word of God. She had a heart for seeing those in need in their lives coming to know Christ as their Savior, and loves her children and grandchildren and definitely let the love of Christ shine through her. Her faith was shared with her husband, family, and friends, never having a desire for great riches, luxuries, or possessions. Daily on her phone she was sharing love and encouragement with others. The bond between her and her husband strengthened even if it meant that she went fishing, baited her own hook, and took her fish off her line. Garage sales were a weakness for her as she was always looking for great bargains and things to share with her children and grandchildren.
Rose is preceded in death by her parents, William and Beulah Sloan, sister, Pam Davis, and brothers, Terry and Ricky Sloan. She leaves behind to cherish her life, husband Stephen, children: Jessica Booghier, Amanda and Chris Gonzales, Stephanie and Chris Spivey, Adam and Danielle Booghier, and her miracle special needs son, Andrew, Step-children: Stephen Booghier Jr., Tricia and Tom Wiekert, and Timothy and Alyssa Booghier; Rose is from a family of twelve children and leaves her love for Sister Loraine Carl, Sister Linda Leonard and husband Terry, Sister Deborah Miller and husband Glen, Brother Billy Sloan and wife Johanna, Brother Tim Sloan and wife Patty, Brother Mike Sloan, Brother Jimmy Sloan and wife Donna, and Sister Karen Clinger and husband Jim; and numerous nieces and nephews, and her beloved puppy, Rosie.
