Ronnie Martin Jones

FORT WORTH -- Ronnie Martin Jones, 77, joined our Lord Wednesday, Feb. 17, 2015.

Ronnie was born in Fort Worth on Sept. 11, 1937 the son of Martin Telemma Jones and Ruby Irene McMichael Jones. He graduated from Fort Worth Technical High School and retired from Lockheed Martin after 37 years. His service to the community included 33 years in Office and Professional Employees International Union including time served as Vice President/President, a member of the Tarrant County Hospital District Board of Managers,and Vice Chairman of Trinity Valley Mental Health and Mental Retardation Board. He was a long time member of South Hills Masonic Lodge #1389, Fort Worth Scottish Rite and Moslah Shrine. He served as Song Director of 3 churches: 8th Ave Baptist Church, Calvary Baptist Church and Liberty Missionary Baptist Church. He was an avid golfer.
Ronnie was preceded in death by his parents and brother, Tim Jones.
Survivors: Wife, Mildred V. Jones; son, Bill Jones of Burleson; daughters, Toni Michelle Spangler of Fort Worth and Karen Denise Emery and husband Greg of Midlothian; eight grandchildren: Ashley Fanning, Austin and Amanda Jones, Chris and Preston Spangler, Lauren Daugherty and Bryce and Brooke Emery; ten great grandchildren: Cobin, Lucas, Micah and Ronin Daugherty, Caden Fanning, Christian, Braelynn, Jameson and Sawyer Spangler,and Laykin Emery
