On Thursday, July 15, 2021, Rogelio Reyes Jr. “Chinio” ascended into heaven and went to be with the Lord, at the young age of 46. Born in Fort Worth, TX on December 3, 1974, to Rogelio and Juanita Reyes as their one and only beloved son. He was a devoted father of four children Deserae Marie, Rogelio Vicente (Arlene), Elias Gabriel, and Cesar Alejandro, and a dedicated grandpa to Priscilla, Vincente, and Geronimo Reyes. They will carry on his legacy of living life to the fullest with joy, laughter, and dedication to family.
Chinio grew up in Arlington and graduated from Lamar High school. Here he met many of his lifelong friends. He was a flooring contractor who carried on the trade taught to him by his dad. He was an entrepreneur of trucking, towing, and flooring businesses. His passions included riding horses, wrangling cattle, and all-around horseplay. He organized several Coliaderos and hosted many events at his ranch in Alvarado. Chinio enjoyed boating in the summer and was always ready for an adventure; From his jet ski to four-wheeling or mudding in his truck, and of course, he was always up for a night on the town. Chino loved going to concerts, dancing, and being in good company with some cold drinks.
Chinio will be missed by all who knew him. Left to cherish his memory are mother, Juanita, sisters Esperanza (Joe), Celia (Tony), Sue Ellen (Orlando), an abundance of nephews, nieces, and numerous family members and friends.
He is preceded in death by father, Rogelio Sr., sister Anna, and nephews Raul and Alejandro.
