Robert Templin

ARLINGTON -- Robert Leroy Templin, 86, passed quietly to be with his Lord after a short illness Monday, Oct. 8, 2012. Robert was born Dec. 13, 1925, the son of Jake and Edna Blanche Templin. He joined the U.S. Army on Jan. 3, 1946. Robert married Bertha Lee Arnold on Oct. 8, 1948. He was a welder by trade, a lover of country music and an avid fan of the Texas Rangers. Robert was a loving husband, father and friend to all who knew him. He was preceded in death by his parents, Jake and Blanche Templin; brother, Eugene Templin; sister, Ruth Blizzard; and son, Robert James Templin. Survivors: His wife of 64 years, Bea Templin; sons, Michael Templin and wife, Becky, and Larry Templin and wife, Doylene; sister, Sue Ashcraft and husband, Jimmy; grandchildren, Jake Templin, Kelsey Short, Brooke Mooty, Jennifer Howard, James Templin, Shannon Maki, Joseph Templin, Melissa Garza and Carrigan Ingle; 19 great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.
