Bob was born in Bridgeport, Texas on July 21, 1942. He lost his battle with lung cancer on April 16, 2019.
He was raised in the Fort Worth area and attended Birdville High School and Tarrant County Junior College. After serving two terms of service in the U.S. Air Force, he joined the Johnson & Johnson family of companies from which he retired in 1994. After retirement, he was active in the Mansfield Masonic Lodge, the Moslah Shriners, and the Fort Worth Scottish Rite. Bob was a loving husband, father, and grandfather. He loved to play guitar, root on the Texas Rangers, and spend time in the backyard with his family.
Bob was preceded in death by his parents John and Maurine Goins, and his sisters Jackie Roberts,
Janice Maben, and Ann Matthews.
He is survived by his wife Linda, son Lonnie, daughter-in-law Heather, grandchildren Zane, Josie and Logan, sisters Judy Brammer and Joy Smith, brother Johnny, and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and extended family.
