Robert John Albright, 74, passed away Tuesday May 3, 2016 in Mansfield, TX. He was born November 3, 1941 in Buffalo, New York to Adelbert and Frances Albright.
Robert grew up in Arlington, TX. He graduated from Arlington High School in 1960. After high school, he attended college and was drafted into the United States Army and served his country in the Vietnam War. He worked as a machinist and tool designer in the aircraft industry for nearly 50 years. He retired in 2013 from Triumph.
Robert married Patricia in 1975 in Irving, TX. They were happily married for almost 41 years.
Robert enjoyed coaching his children through many years of baseball and softball, building and flying RC airplanes, hunting, fishing, camping, and restoring vehicles with his son. He enjoyed owning and maintaining his land and cattle. He was never afraid of a hard day’s work. He would lend a hand to anyone in need.
Robert was preceded in death by his parents Adelbert and Frances Albright.
Robert is survived by his spouse Patricia of Mansfield, TX; his sister Susan Albright of Flower Mound, TX; his daughter Karen (Joe) Rongish of Wichita, KS; and his son James (Mandy) Albright of Arlington, TX.
In lieu of flowers the family requests memorial donations be made to the American Cancer Society.
