Robbie Lee Gilstrap

Robbie Lee Gilstrap, 94, of Mansfield, Texas, a loving mother, grandmother and great-grandmother, went home to be with the Lord on Tuesday, January 23, 2018.

Robbie was born January 23, 1924 in Webb, Texas, the daughter of Cornelius Womble and Ruby Wolfe Womble. She worked for the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers in Fort Worth and was a longtime member of First Baptist Church of Mansfield.

She was preceded in death by her husband of 42 years, Howard Gilstrap and daughter, Myra Middleton; brothers, Ed and Royce Womble; and sisters, Jo Stone and Janette Brown.

Robbie is survived by her daughter, Karen Hughes and her husband, Harold; granddaughters, Erin Pryor and her husband, Steven, Laura Hughes and Megan Middleton; son-in-law, Lonnie Middleton; great-grandson, Jordan Pryor; sister, Betty Mitchell; and numerous nieces and nephews.
