Rita Christine Pittmon

Rita Christine Raub Pittmon, 75, of Mansfield, TX, died on July 3, 2022. Rita was born on September 26, 1946 to Harry and Lydia Raub in Wichita Falls, TX.

After Rita graduated from Decatur High School in 1965, she went on to study at Amarillo College and West Texas State University, until her marriage in 1967.

Rita met T.A. Pittmon in Red River, New Mexico. T. A. and Rita were married on December 2, 1967. They went on to have 2 children, Tracy and Tyler. Rita was a proud Navy wife, mother, and Granma. She was an active member of the Polio Survivors of North Texas. Rita held many jobs over the years, including several years at Southwestern Bell, and helped to establish Pittmon Family Chiropractic Center. Rita made friends wherever she went, with her infectious laugh and sincere concern for others.

Rita is preceded in death by her parents, Harry and Lydia Raub, brother Ed Raub, and son-in-law Peter Clement.

She is survived by her husband, T. A. ; her sisters, Kay Sellers and Sara Williams; her children Tracy Clement; Tyler Pittmon and daughter-in law Leah Pittmon, and her grandchildren Tricia R. Pittmon, Tavish Clement, and Torbin Pittmon, and many nieces and nephews.
