Regina Gail Locklin Wright passed away peacefully January 4th, 2024, at the age of 72. Regina was born in Fort Worth, TX on December 13th, 1951 to Sylvia Ann (Branch) and Douglas Reynolds Locklin.
Regina graduated from Biloxi High School in 1970, and took classes at Tarrant County College. She worked for the City of Arlington and retired from the University of Texas at Arlington.
Regina was extremely creative. She loved music of all genres, was an avid reader, and loved creative activities like coloring, painting, and home and garden design. Regina was a remarkable sister, daughter, mother, friend, and will be deeply missed by her friends and family.
Regina is preceded in death by her parents, Sylvia and Douglas Locklin.
Regina is survived by Sammie Locklin; sister, Francis Celeste Locklin; son, James Mitchell Wright; daughter-in-law Denise DeArmond Wright; her grandchildren - Rebecca Anne Dieter, Sylvia Gabrielle Wright, Matthew Douglas Wright; and three great grandchildren.
Her family takes comfort in all the love and support friends and family have shown during this difficult time.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to Disabled American Veterans, the Wounded Warrior Project, or a charity of your choice.
