Randall Patrick Philpot

BURLESON -- Randall P. Philpot, 67, dearly loved and a devoted family man, passed Wednesday, Dec. 10, 2014.
Service: 10 a.m. Tuesday at Blessing Funeral Home. Interment: DFW National Cemetery. Visitation: 6 to 8 p.m. Monday at Blessing Funeral Home.
Memorials: In lieu of flowers, the family suggests a donation to The Wounded Warrior Project, P.O. Box 758517, Topeka, Kan. 66675.
Randy was born June 13, 1947, in Fort Worth to Larry and Mary Hageman Philpot. He graduated from Mansfield High School in 1965. Randy proudly served his country in the Marine Corps from 1966-1968, where he toured in Vietnam and was awarded a Purple Heart. He retired from General Motors after 30 years of service.
Survivors: Randy is survived by the woman he adored, Debby, whom he was married to for 44 years; daughter, Wendy Bodiford (Brad); son, Brandon Philpot (Sara); the light in his eyes, his grandchildren, Berkley and Baylee Bodiford, and Jaxson and Ellie Philpot; brother, Tom Philpot.
