Phyllis Blue

ARLINGTON -- Phyllis Ann Blue passed away September 13, 2013.        Memorials: In lieu of flowers, her family requests a donation in Phyllis' name be made to the American Red Cross Disaster Relief or a charity of your choice. Sympathy cards may be sent to the family at 2115 Belmont Park Dr., Arlington, TX 76017        She was born January 12, 1929 in Cambridge, MA and was married to the late Robert W. Blue for over 50 years. They enjoyed a great life together and traveled throughout the  U.S. and several foreign countries. Mrs. Blue had a love of cooking which developed into owning and operating Apron Strings, a gourmet cooking store in Crystal Lake, IL. Upon retirement, she moved to Texas in 1994 and started volunteering, gardening and later attending the Hugh Smith Senior Center.        Survivors: Daughter, Kelley O'Conan; sons, Ken (Deb) Blue of North Carolina, Rick Blue of Arlington; along with several grand and great-grandchildren; Sisters, Marilyn Bass of Chicago and Elaine Rogers of Mississippi.
