Paul Richard Wilson went to be with the Lord on November 29, 2013 in Burleson at the age of 85. He was born on January 14, 1928 in Gertie, TX to the late Elmer and Lorene (Bishop) Wilson. Paul was one of the last men to walk out of Swift & Company as a boiler fireman. This was a trade he learned while serving his country in the Merchant Marines during WWII. He was a master ceramic mold maker, wood craftsman, outdoorsman, and loved spending time with family. Paul is preceded in death by his parents Elmer and Lorene Wilson and one brother, T.E. “Edd” Wilson. Those left to celebrate his life are: his wife of 68 years Dorothy Wilson; one son, Joe Wilson and wife Jaynee; one daughter, Carla Draper and husband Dusty; four grandchildren, Sharla Smith, Jennifer Bell and husband David, Jodee Preston and husband David, and Josh Wilson; Seven great grandchildren, Travis Bell, Lauren Preston, Jonathan Preston, Cora Bell, Reese Preston, Thomas Bell and Jacob Preston; one sister, Betty Jean Boyd.
