Patrick Wayne Newton

Patrick Wayne Newton, 42, of Arlington, went to meet his Lord and Savior on Sunday, May 22, 2016. Patrick was born on June 6, 1973 to Dennis and Patricia Newton. He graduated from Hereford High School in 1991. In 2001, Patrick met the girl who would become his wife. He and Jamie Reagor had an instant connection and were married on July 20, 2002.
In August 2011, Patrick and Jamie welcomed a beautiful daughter, Kylie. Patrick and Kylie enjoyed going on dates, reading, and singing silly songs. Life for his family was great but not quite complete. Patrick found his passion for working with the kids. He decided to go back to school where he graduated from UT-Arlington with honors on May 14, 2016. His proudest moment was seeing Kylie’s face and having her be so excited to see him graduate. He never met a stranger and touched the lives of every person he encountered.
Service: 11 a.m. Saturday at First Baptist Mansfield. Burial following in Mansfield Cemetery.
Survivors: Wife, Jamie Newton; daughter, Kylie; parents, Dennis and Pat Newton; brother, Cory Newton; grandmothers, Louise Newton and Mary Ewing; brothers in-law, John Reagor and wife, Kate, Jason Reagor and wife, Shirley; sister in-law, Jana Bain; and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, and nephews.
