Patricia Genzel Nowaski

April 9, 1945 — July 19, 2022

Patricia Genzel Nowaski, 77 of Mansfield, went peacefully to be with the Lord July 19, 2022 with her husband by her side. Patricia was born to Mildred Allen and Otto Genzel on April 9, 1945 in Dallas, Texas. She graduated from Arlington Highschool and continued her education at Draughon Business College in Dallas Texas. She went on to work as a telephone operator with Bell Telephone from which she retired and begin working as a buyer in the JC Penny’s corporate office until her retirement from their company.

Patricia was a wonderful mother to her four children and later met and married her loving husband, Edward Nowaski. They are parishioners of St. Jude Catholic Parish in Mansfield. Pat loved sewing and quilting and being Memaw to her three grandchildren. Her kindness and love permeated through all who knew her.

Patricia is preceded in death by her parents, Mildred Allen and Otto Genzel; her eldest son, J.B. Vita; brothers, William Genzel and Randy Genzel; and sister, Barbara Sue Genzel.

She leaves behind to cherish her memory her beloved husband, Ed Nowaski; sons, Patrick Vita and Joey Vita; daughter, Kealine Graves; grandchildren, Caleb Vita, Savannah Vita and Billy Graves; brother, Richard Genzel and numerous extended family members and friends.

She will be dearly missed here on earth but her family and friends take comfort in knowing she is living in peace now with the Lord.
