Pamela Lee Henson Garner, 58, died Friday, October 6th, 2017 at 10:18 am. in Arlington Texas from complications after routine surgery. She was born at St. Mary's Hospital in Cairo, Illinois. She was the oldest daughter of Norman and Norma (Smiley) Henson of Sarasota, Florida.
Pam had a love for animals...if she wasn't bringing one home from a flea market, she was feeding a stray with the bag of food she always had in her car. There would be an elephant in the back yard if she had it her way. Baking, cooking, and crafting were a close second for Pam. Most people here had either a wedding or birthday cake done by her. Some even have a Christmas ornament hanging on their tree that she made. If you were lucky enough, you were able to try one of her famous chicken sandwiches, or Christmas cookies. Most of all, we will remember her big heart. Her family was her number one priority. She loved like no one else. Her laugh was contagious and her smile lit up the room. She never met a stranger no matter where she went.
Pam is preceded in death by her sister, Brenda Lee Henson, and brother, Randy Dale Henson.
Survivors include her loving husband Jackie Lynn Garner of 41 years; Her parents, Norman and Norma Henson; Brothers, Norris Henson and Melvin Henson; Sons, Michael Garner and wife Mindi. Brandon Garner and wife Teressa; Six grand children; one great grand child; Many nieces and nephews, and a host of loved ones.
