In Loving Memory of Palma Marie Kirlin
Palma Marie Kirlin, beloved wife of Patrick Kirlin, peacefully passed away on January 16, 2024, in Mansfield, TX, at the age of 94. She was born on June 17, 1929, in Utica, NY, to her loving parents Ralph and Mary Guerino.
Palma, was fondly known as Pam by her family and friends, was a vibrant and cherished presence in the lives of all who knew her. She attended Herkimer High School.
On October 10, 1953, Palma exchanged vows with the love of her life, Patrick J. Kirlin, in a heartfelt ceremony held in Herkimer, NY. They embarked on a remarkable journey together, celebrating 70 beautiful years of marriage. She and her husband were devout Catholics and were members of St. Elizabeth of Hungary Catholic Parish in Oak Cliff for 30 years before moving to Mansfield and have been members of St. Jude Catholic Church since June, 1992. They had a love for traveling state side and many destinations out of the country too, especially the Irish and Caribbean Cruises.
Pam was a devoted member of the USAF, Hospital Auxiliary, and the Red Hat Society, where she formed treasured friendships and embraced community service. She possessed a passion for tennis, bowling, golf, painting, gardening, and tirelessly supporting and attending all the events of her children and grandchildren. Pam was known for her unwavering spirit and her love for sports, often seen cheering passionately from the sidelines. She was an avid Texas Rangers and Dallas Cowboys fan.
Pam is survived by her beloved husband Patrick J. Kirlin, who will forever cherish their shared memories. She will be deeply missed by her children, Gary and Fran Kirlin, Mike Kirlin, Patrick T. and Jennifer Kirlin, Terianne and Tim Higgins, Linda Wilson, Marianne Foley, and David Kirlin. Her love and light will continue to shine through her 16 grandchildren and 18 great-grandchildren.
Pam will always be remembered for her warmth, genuine kindness, and unwavering love for her family and friends. While she may no longer be with us in person, her spirit will forever live on in our hearts.
