Oscar Miguel Martinez

Oscar Miguel Martinez, born August 14, 1952 passed away at home on September 13, 2017 after a long battle of congestive heart failure. He was survived by his wife of 27 years Wanda, mother Dora Saenz, son & daughter-in-law Steve and Sandi Martinez, daughter & son-in-law Amanda and Mikey Cox, daughter & son-in-law Rhonda and Shawn Uvalle, numerous grandchildren, brothers, sisters, and many nieces and nephews who considered him as "dad". He loved going to auctions of all kinds and flea markets; he saw value in everything and there was no deal he couldn't make. He was a man of many talents and could do anything he put his mind to. If he couldn't do it himself, he took the role of supervisor extremely well. Before health issues took his freedom, he loved to work and dance until the sun came up. He hated long sleeve shirts, suits and ties but would rather wear t-shirts only if it had a front pocket and Dickie blue work pants. He was preceded in death by his dad, grandparents, two sisters, and a brother. He was a wonderful man and will be sorely missed.
