Norma Hospedales

Patricia Norma Hospedales, aged 87, current resident of Crowley, Texas, passed away on Friday December 15th, 2023. She was born in San Fernando Colonial Hospital, Trinidad and Tobago on September 11th, 1936. Norma went to elementary school at Siparia Roman Catholic School.

Norma was a homemaker for her siblings and her children. She was a member of La Divina Pastora Roman Catholic Church in Siparia, Trinidad, and attended St. Joseph’s Catholic Community in Arlington, Texas with her family. Norma was a great cook, and spoiled her family with her amazing dishes. She was a dedicated mother and grandma. Norma always made sure to take care of her grandbabies. She was a caregiver in every sense of the word. Norma loved to sew, work on crosswords, do word searches, play sudoku, and coloring. She traveled from Trinidad in 1997 and traveled across the United States with her family. She lived in various states including North Carolina, Maryland and Virginia until arriving in Texas in 2005.

She is preceded in death by her parents Miller & Agnes and siblings Ben, Audrick, Rita, and Geraldine.
She leaves behind to cherish her memory, children Francis “Dennis” Hospedales, Jesmin Clarke (nee Hospedales); her grandchildren, Dennison “Kwasi” Hospedales (wife Tyrabia, and stepdaughter T’laizsa) and Kiona and Keenan Clarke; Siblings Christina Paulose, Paulina McQueen, Cecil Hospedales, Clothilda ’Judy’ Dingwall, nieces , nephews and numerous extended family and friends. She was a very peaceful, loving person to everyone she met.
