Neomia Theola Aston, 88, of Joshua, Texas, passed away Friday, December 22, 2017 in Burleson, Texas.
Neomia was born July 19, 1929 to Sula Beatrice and Buel Hubbard Grace. She was the oldest of 11 siblings. Neomia graduated from Rice High School in 1946. She loved life and her family. She had multiple hobbies of quilting, doll making, and sewing being her favorites.
Neomia, better known as"Mom" and "Granny", was preceded in death by her parents; husband, John Daniel Aston; son, Johnny Curtis Aston; grandson, Darrel Kilgore; two sisters and five brothers.
She is survived by her daughters, Gwen Aston of Joshua, TX; Barbara Graham and husband, Ronnie of Edgewood, TX; Sharon Roe of Joshua, TX; Joann Kennemur and husband, Ernie of Joshua, TX; sisters, Laverne McNutt, Alvina Green and husband Bob; brother, Dale Grace and wife Carol; three sister-in-laws and one brother-in-law; ten grandchildren, Billy, Ronnie, Monica, Jeff, Tina, Judy, Melissa, Jerry Don, Steven, and Danny; multiple great and great-great grandchildren.
