Nelda Doris Goodson

Nelda "Doris" Goodson, 93, of Mansfield, Texas passed away January 5, 2019 at 11:04 a.m. in Arlington, Texas.
She was married to the late Robert "Glenn" Goodson in 1943, when she was 18 years old, in Wellington, Texas, where Glenn was from. They moved to Mansfield, Texas in 1951. They owned and operated the first dry cleaners in Mansfield.
Doris also ran the front ticket office at the Kowbell Rodeo in Mansfield every Saturday night for many years.
Doris is preceded in death by her father and mother, 2 sisters and son Larry Cliff Goodson.
Doris is survived by two sons, Robert Glenn Goodson and Stephen "Mark" Goodson and three grandchildren, Kendra Goodson Consilio, Geoffrey Goodson and Zachary Goodson; two great-grandchildren Kennedy and Carter Consilio and many nieces and nephews plus grand nieces and nephews as well as many precious friends.
Funeral arrangements will be Saturday, January 12, 2019 at Blessing Funeral Home (401 Elm Street) in Mansfield, Texas 76063 (817) 473-1555.
Visitation noon to 12:45 p.m.
Celebration of Life 1:00 p.m.
