Naomi Dale Singleterry

November 21, 1933 — December 16, 2021

Naomi Dale Hawkins Singleterry, 88, passed away peacefully on December 16, 2021 in Mansfield, TX.
She was born November 21, 1933 in Ripley County, MO to George and Edna Hawkins, and was the
youngest of 16 children.

On September 17, 1954 she married Edward Lavon Singleterry. She loved to read her Bible, sewing, and
puzzles. She hosted many people in her home over the years. She loved to travel and visited many
countries in her lifetime.

She was a faithful Christian from an early age and was a member of the Northwest Church of Christ at
the time of her death. She served many years as an elder’s wife and was a teacher of children and
women’s Bible classes.

She is survived by her husband, Edward, her sister Marilyn Campbell, three daughters and their
husbands – Lauren Cotton (husband Tom, Joy Yates (husband Phil), Kelli Dean (husband Paul); one son,
Daniel Singleterry; seven grandchildren – Eileen Brown, Nathan Shockley, Amanda Lee, Emily Welch,
Jenna Yates, Tyler Dean, Cameron Dean; and 8 great grandchildren.
