Nan Bethea Morrissey

MANSFIELD -- Nan Bethea Morrissey passed away Sunday, June 29, 2014, from complications of lung disease.
Service: 1 p.m. Wednesday at St. Mark's Episcopal Church, Arlington. Visitation: 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. Tuesday at Blessing Funeral Home, Mansfield.
Memorials: In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Salvation Army or North Texas Food Bank.
Nan was a pediatric nurse for 25 years. She was committed to helping others. She mentored pregnant teenagers, sponsored Vietnamese refugee families and volunteered at St. Vincent De Paul Catholic Church.
Nan was preceded in death by her husband, Thomas F. Morrissey.
Survivors: Daughters, Mary Morrissey, Nancy Morrissey Cook and Ann Morrissey Favreau; grandchildren, Katie, Natalie, Lily, Adam, Eben, Andrew, Sara, Naomi, Claire, Ian, Owen, Molly and Ben; and sister, Susan Bethea Burchett.
