Murl Jean Hawks

Murl Jean Hancock Hawks, 88, of Arlington, Texas, entered heaven’s gate on Friday, Dec. 25, 2015.
Murl was born in Bogata, Texas on Sept. 30, 1927, the daughter of Jeff and Hattie Hancock. She was the most beautiful, loving, kind, hard working, generous and stubborn woman. Murl loved her kids, grand kids and great grand kids more than anything in the world.
Murl was preceded in death by her husband, William Thomas "Ted" Tompkins, children, Tana Roberson, Terra Tompkins and Thomas Tompkins and step son, Jerry Tompkins.
Survivors include her Daughter, Teresa Tompkins Anton and husband Jim; grandchildren, Shane Wilson, Nick and Michael Anton, Clint Roberson and wife Dara, Clay and Taylor Tompkins; great grandchildren, Chase Wilson and Caden, Ashlin and Morgan Roberson.
