FORT WORTH -- Muriel Ida "Nikki" Scott, a member of Worth Baptist Church for over 38 years, went to be with her Lord on November 15, 2012. Funeral Service: 11 a.m., Tuesday at Worth Baptist Church 4900 Campus Drive, Fort Worth, 76119. Visitation: 2 to 4 p.m., Sunday at Blessing Funeral Home, Mansfield. Muriel was born to Wesley and Letty Niquette on August 12, 1923 in Puyallup, WA, where she lived through high school. She then joined the U.S. Navy Waves in Corpus Christi. She was preceded in death by both of her parents, her loving husband of 25 years, Wayland Scott, sons, Charles Edward and Michael Thomas Harris. Survivors: brother, Jim Niquette, and wife, June, of Gig Harbor, WA; son, Lonnie Harris and wife, Sue, of Granbury; son, Harold Scott, of Oklahoma City, OK; daughter, Carmen Harris and husband, Doyle, of Weatherford; daughter, Donnia Harris, of Weatherford; 21 grandchildren; 42 great-grandchildren; nine great-great-grandchildren; loving caregiver, Debbra Green; a multitude of nieces, nephews and cousins; dear dear friend, Judy Brown and husband, Dennis.; and two loving dogs, Pinkie and Shadow.
