Mozelle Jacobs

GRANDVIEW -- Mozelle Jacobs, 89, beloved daughter, wife, sister and aunt, returned to the arms of God on Jan. 10, 2016.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 62 years, (Walton) Buck Jacobs; parents, Louie and Pud Hinson; sister, Ivah Abraham and brother-in-law, George Abraham; brothers, A.D., James, and W.J. Hinson and niece Nelda Morgan.


Survivors include sisters-in-law Margaret Hinson and Louise Hinson, Nieces Sheri Sims and Mary Breaud, Deborah Hinson, Cathy Hinson, nephews Aubrey Hinson, Jerry Hinson, David Hinson, and Michael Hinson and numerous great nieces and nephews.



Mozelle, called Mozie by friends and family, was an active member of the Grandview Methodist Church where she enthusiastically participated and especially loved working with the Lord's Acre. Mozelle and Buck were the heart and hands behind the building of the Chapel at the Grandview Nursing Home many years ago. She had a garden that was the envy of flower lovers and maintained a lovely garden until moving to Serenity Inn two and a half years ago. Mozelle cared for and loved her family who loved her very much. As children her nieces and nephews were treated as if they were her own children. She had a special love for children everywhere and counted many as her friends.



Graveside services are Tuesday, January 12, 2016 at the Grandview Cemetery where she will be laid to rest in the Hinson Family area.
