Morris Lee Skinner, 92, moved to his heavenly address on August 3, 2017.
Morris was born in Webb, Texas on Aug. 6,1924. He was the oldest son of Oscar and Susie Fry Skinner. He married the love of his life, Mary Rebecca Thomas on June 23, 1945 in Fort Worth Texas. They celebrated 70 years of marriage in 2015. Morris was a successful dairyman, public farmer, cattleman, farm equipment distributor and investor. He loved his family and loyally attended their sporting events. He was a member of Mansfield Church of Christ.
Morris was preceded in death by his wife, Mary, son-in-law James A. Henderson Jr, and brothers Curtis and Harlan Skinner.
He is survived by his two daughters, Linda Sue Skinner Henderson of Poolville and Becky Ann Skinner Smith and husband, Clyde of Emory; granddaughters Tammy Smith Kent and husband Michael, Sheryl Henderson Glasser and husband Larry, Debby Smith Hester and husband James, and Brenda Henderson Baas; Ten great-grandchildren Christopher Smith, Megan Spry, Brandon Spry, Mason Baas, Garrett Baas, Samuel Kent, Ella Hester, David Hester, Isabel Hester, and Philip Hester; Four great-great-grandchildren Matt Smith, Julie Smith, Corbin Smith, and Colton Smith; Brother-in-law Jerry Kelly; Numerous nieces and nephews.
Funeral services are planned for Blessing Funeral Home at 11am Saturday August 5th with viewing at 10 am preceding the funeral. Burial to follow at Mansfield Cemetery.
