Morris David Franks

Morris David Franks left this earth peacefully on February 10, 2022, at home. Morris was born February 24, 1936, in Britton, Texas. He was the second child of John D Franks and Frances “Leet” Foster. He had an older brother, John Charles, and a younger sister, Ollie Rose. He married Glenda Vincent in August 1956 and they shared their life for 59 years 5 months and 4 days until her death in February 2016. Morris was drafted into the Armed Services in 1958, and he chose to serve in the Air Force. He was stationed in Phoenix AZ for the 4 years of his service. After his service, Morris returned to Mansfield Texas where he lived until 1971 when he moved to Arlington. Morris was a bricklayer from the time he was 14 years old until he retired in 2013.

Morris is preceded in death by his wife Glenda, his daughter Carla, his brother John, and his parents, John and Frances Franks.

He is survived by his children: Lisa Gray and Lori Rhodes; grandchildren: Jason Kizzia, Scott Kizzia, Kayla Rhodes, Derek Gray, Darcy Gray, and Kassidy Rhodes; and three great grandchildren; Mia Kizzia, Grayson Rhodes, and Kinsley Reeves.
