Monty Goddard

With aching sadness, we announce the passing of Monty. He went to the arms of God peacefully at his home, in his bed on February 2, 2021 and surrounded by his family. He died at the age of 70 after a hard fought battle with cancer.

Monty was the beloved husband of 49 years to Carolyn, and the beloved dad to his three girls Shannon Dolloff, Stephanie Goddard, and Stacie Looney. He was sadly preceded in death by his son, James Michael Goddard. He was the proud father-in-law of Scott Dolloff and James Looney, and an adoring PawPaw to his 4 grandchildren, Clara, James, Andrew, and Lolly.

He lived a full life and made friends everywhere he went. He loved his job as a banker and met many life-long friends through his work. He also loved to hunt, and his hunting buddies will miss him and his campfire stories.

Most of all, he loved his family. He will be so very sorely missed and forever in our hearts.

Because of the pandemic, a celebration of his life will be scheduled later.
