Michael David Langlois, a beloved husband, father, grandfather, and brother, passed away on September 24, 2024 leaving behind a legacy that will forever echo in the hearts of those he cherished.

Born on August 25, 1959, at Homestead AFB, Florida, Michael blossomed into a dedicated individual who embraced life. He graduated from Bowie High School and pursued a career in water purification, serving both the cities of Hurst and Benbrook. Throughout his professional journey, he made invaluable contributions to his community, driven by a commitment to ensuring clean water for all. He would go on to earn various awards and degrees from Benbrook Water Authority.

Michael was not only a skilled professional but also a passionate artist at heart. From landscaping and carpentry to glasswork and home design, he cultivated a wide array of talents that showcased his creativity. Michael found joy in playing the guitar, sharing melodies that resonated with his family and friends. His artistry came to life as he pursued building projects that transformed spaces into serene sanctuaries.

He leaves behind his two loving daughters, Angela Keller and Lindsey Ruttan, who epitomize the strength and warmth he demonstrated. Michael was also a blessed grandfather of nine grand children Jacob, Samantha, Austin, Savannah, Sabrina, Alyssa, Brook, Chloe, and Marcus.

Cherished by all, Michael fondly shared his life with his sisters, Melody (Ben Grogan) and Sherri (Willie Sutton), and his brother, Charlie Langlois (Trish). Together, they formed unbreakable bonds that spanned the many seasons of life. Michael was preceded in death by his mother and father, Margaret and Ernest Langlois, who instilled in him the values of hard work and compassion that defined his character and his faithful companion Nugget.

A memorial service to honor his remarkable life will be held on October 5, 2024, at Blessing Funeral Home in Mansfield, Texas. The service will commence at 1:00 PM, allowing family and friends to reflect on the countless memories shared with this extraordinary man.
